Pulaski P.D. Receives Cancer Awareness Decals

Tuck's Collision Provides Pulaski P.D. with Cancer Awareness Decals

Cancer awareness is something that everyone considers important, but sometimes it’s hard to find a way to really express that awareness in everyday life. One of the most effective forms of increasing awareness is advertising; whether that be on its own, or through a partnership with a company or organization to boost the reach of both.

This type of partnership was put in to effect with a new set of reflective decals on one of the Pulaski Police Department’s patrol cars. The new purple decals are not only beautiful, but they provide a mobile billboard for cancer awareness in the Town of Pulaski. Along with the big purple ribbons on the front and sides, the trunk of the car sports a set of small decals depicting each of the multicolored ribbons for each specific type of cancer. It’s important to support cancer awareness in general, but the individual ribbons add a nice touch to an already wonderful new Pulaski Police Department appearance.

The American Cancer Society estimates that there will be an estimated 1.7 million cancer diagnoses in 2019, with roughly 600,000 of those diagnoses resulting in death. As research and scientific progress continue to advance, these numbers have steadily declined over the past few years; a testament to the power of donations and the willpower of the scientific community to find a cure. We salute Tuck’s Collision for providing theses decals free of charge, and the Pulaski Police Department for proudly displaying them on one of their newer patrol vehicles. Every little bit helps in the fight!
