Town Celebrates Halloween in Downtown

Hundreds of children converged on Main Street for the annual Treat Trail and on Jackson Park for the second annual Trunk or Treat celebration on Halloween night.

Over 50 local businesses throughout the Town participated in the annual Treat Trail, organized by the Greater Pulaski Alliance.  Main Street was filled with ghosts and goblins, princes and princes, classic characters and cartoon favorites.

With a theme of Heroes & Villains, local organizations decorated trunks and provided tasty treats to children venturing into Jackson Park.

Visiting musician, Alex Donahue, carefully inspected each trunk to zero in on the best decorated trunk among the 12 participating groups. The crew from the Town of Pulaski's Public Works Department took home first place in the trunk decorating contest.  The decorated plow, filled with candy, chips, and other treats was a big hit!

Creative costumes were also plentiful, as children and parents alike showcased their Halloween spirit.  A costume contest, hosted by Food City and the Southwest Times was also held.  Judges awarded prizes to the best dressed in three age categories.

Spooky music and delicious food from Snack Time food truck completed a fun evening for all who attended.

Thanks to everyone who came out to enjoy a great evening downtown!
