Every such person or business shall be assessed and required to pay annually a license tax on all the gross receipts.
Business license rates for the five main categories of businesses are as follows:
- Contracting $0.16 per $100 gross receipts
- Retail Sales $0.16 per $100 gross receipts
- Finance, Real Estate and Professional Services $0.40 per $100 gross receipts
- Repair, Personal and Business Services $0.20 per $100 gross receipts
Wholesale Merchants:
- $0.13 per gross receipts (First $2 million)
- $0.05 per gross receipts (Next $1 million)
- $0.01 per gross receipts (Above $3 million)
MINIMUM FLAT RATE $30.00

Please use the printable version of the Meals Tax form below. Upon completion, mail the form to the Town Municipal Building at P.O. Box 660, 42 1st Street Northwest, Pulaski, Virginia 24301 or drop it off in person on the first floor in the Finance Department office.
