Acting Police Chief Named

After careful consideration of several well-qualified internal applicants, I am pleased to announce the appointment of Michael Pannelee as Acting Chief of Police for the Town of Pulaski, effective June l, 2025.

Chief Parmelee comes with over 30 years of experience in the police service with 23 of those 30 years served right here in the Town of Pulaski. Chief Parmelee has a career of progressive experience and education including a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice from Radford University, extensive training, a strong commitment to public service, and a deep understanding of our community's needs. I am confident in his ability to lead the department with integrity, professionalism, and a continued focus on public safety and community engagement.

I look forward to working closely with Chief Parmelee in bis new role and offer him my full support as he assumes this impottant responsibility. Please join me in congratulating Chief Parmelee on this appointment as Acting Chief of Police.
