Important Tax Reminder

Town of Pulaski Personal Property Tax Bills for 2023 have been mailed. They are due Monday October 16, 2023. As a reminder, the License Fee (previously Decal Fee), is included on the bill for each vehicle owned as of January 1, 2023. Failure to receive a bill does not relieve the taxpayer of any additional charges of penalty or interest that will accrue under the law for failure to pay the tax bill. Tax payments mailed must be postmarked on or before October 16, 2023 to avoid penalty or interest being added. Payments should be addressed to:

The Finance Director has no authority to change any tax assessments or make adjustments to personal property records. Assessments are based on the ownership as of January 1 of each year. If you believe there is an error in the assessment, please contact the Commissioner of Revenue office at 540-980-7750.

NOTE: The Town of Pulaski Finance Office is located in the Municipal Building at 42 1st St NW Pulaski VA 24301. Also, for the convenience of the taxpayer, there is a drop box located at the back of the building beside the drive-thru available to place your payments after hours. Payments can also be made online at www.pulaskitown.org and go to Bill Pay to complete the payment. Phone payments are not available for Personal Property.
